What a Claim Has to Show
Trading is unusual: every claim made about it is, in principle, provable, because the whole activity is denominated in numbers a broker already records. This paper sets out what proof would consist of — the statement, the denominator, the sample, the period — and then works through what the usual substitutes demonstrate instead: screenshots, percentages without a base, best-of accounts, curves from backtests, and the arithmetic of selling a method rather than running it.
