Learning paths
Read in an order that builds.
A path is a sequence of papers meant to be read together. Start at the beginning, or jump to the one that matches where you are stuck.
- The Right Way to TradeFour papers on doing this properly: what trading actually is before the charts arrive, how the industry around it separates people from their money, the plan that turns intention into something testable, and one account followed through a good run and what came after it.4 papers
- Trend, Range and ScaleThree papers that turn out to be one argument. The first counts how long trends actually last and finds a distribution too skewed for an average to describe. The second counts how often range edges hold and finds the same distribution mirrored, with the fat tail on the other side. The third shows that both counts were written in bars, which makes the bar width part of the definition of every number they produced rather than a lens on it.3 papers
- AI TradingThree papers on handing chart work to an assistant, and on the line beyond which you cannot. The first is what the machine is actually doing when it looks at your chart, and the four things it is not. The second shows that structure, levels, indicators and timeframes are each a count rather than a judgement, and that every count needs a rule you have to supply. The third turns an idea into a rule a stranger could run, tests it without letting it drift, and names the three decisions that stay with you.3 papers
