What the Job Actually Is
Before any method is worth learning, it helps to know what the work is. This paper describes trading as a job: what a trader is paid for, what the day is actually made of, what size of account the arithmetic requires before it can pay anyone, how long a record takes to mean anything, and which costs are always left out of the pitch. Nothing here is discouraging on purpose — it is the description the decision needs.
